Giving to ACF

Individuals and businesses can make a lasting difference in the community by supporting ACF in a variety of ways. ACF accepts gifts in many forms, including cash, publicly traded securities, real estate, life insurance policies, artwork and various other appreciated assets.
Annual Giving
A gift to one of ACF's grantmaking funds builds a stronger community through our annual grantmaking and backbone work for the Aspen to Parachute Cradle to Career Initiative. One hundred percent of your gift supports nonprofits that provide critical services, emergency financial assistance and youth and family programs from Aspen to Parachute.  Funds include: Cradle to Career Initiative, Community Grantmaking, Early Childhood, Emergency Assistance and Mental Health.
Ultimate Ski Pass
With a contribution of $25,000 to ACF's Cradle to Career Initiative, you can receive a one-year transferable, ski pass for unlimited skiing at Aspen, Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass ski areas. You'll be eligible for a $23,000 tax deduction, will receive a pass that can be shared with your friends, children and grandchildren, and you can be confident that your gift will be used to support opportunities for youth in our region to flourish.
Establish a Fund
ACF holds several types of funds that fulfill the interest and goals of the donor as well as the needs of our community. Donors may open a donor advised, field of interest, scholarship, designated or organization fund.

When you give to the Early Childhood Fund at ACF, your gift qualifies for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit. Individuals and business tax payers may claim a Colorado state income tax credit of 50% of your total qualifying contribution. Your support goes to qualified child care providers to enhance programs, providing staff training, and offer financial assistance for families.

This new tax refund donation program is an opportunity to directly support nonprofit organizations in Colorado. You can decide to donate some or all or your 2019 Colorado tax refund to one or more Colorado-registered nonprofits, including ACF.
ACF can help turn your individual retirement account (IRA) into tax-saving charitable gifts. Individuals 70 1/2 and older are eligible to roll over up to $100,000 annually from an IRA to a qualified charity without being taxed.

Donors can leave a legacy that will support the causes they care about through their financial and estate planning decisions. ACF offers a variety of future gift planning options, including bequests in wills, beneficiary designations of life insurance policies or retirement accounts, life income gifts such as charitable remainder trusts, and other estate planning methods. Each of these options provides unique advantages and allows the donor to tailor giving to meet personal financial needs and goals.
