| Our Approach
With decades of experience, ACF has built relationships with the region’s most effective program and service leaders. Together, we have expanded, strengthened and innovated the early childhood system in the Aspen to Parachute region. With the support of hundreds of donors, nearly $5.9 million has been invested to support young children and their families.

We use our understanding of and relationships within the community to:
- Strengthen the skills of adult caregivers
- Provide financial assistance to increase access to quality care
- Expand childcare capacity
- Advocate for sustainable funding for early care and education across the region

Filled identified gaps in service and data collection through collaborative projects
Increased preschool participation for four-year-olds
Increased the number and quality of licensed home care providers in Garfield County
Influenced state legislation to create special taxing districts for early childhood education and care
