This past spring, Aspen Community Foundation (ACF) in partnership with the Jonathan D + Mark C. Lewis Foundation (Lewis Foundation) released the EMPOWER Colorado Youth Report. This report, the culmination of a nearly two-year effort to listen and learn from young people from Parachute to Aspen, Colorado, yielded meaningful insights into their experiences, what excites them, and what is standing in their way. As part of our ongoing work to advance youth empowerment across the region, ACF and the Lewis Foundation are committed to connecting with and informing the community about what was learned from young people through EMPOWER, and its calls to action. Regional youth-serving organizations, stakeholders, and anyone interested in learning about the Youth Empowerment Alliance and EMPOWER are invited to join either of the free virtual sessions. The same content will be shared at both, and Spanish interpretation will only be provided at the 10/27 session. Q&A will follow the presentation.

Aspen Community Foundation (ACF) and the Jonathan D + Mark C. Lewis Foundation (Lewis Foundation) will convene Youth Empowerment Alliance and Youth Impact (YEA/YI)
partners to continue strengthening a more connected and responsive youth empowerment ecosystem across the Parachute to Aspen region. Human Service Innovations will co-facilitate the session.
This cohort learning opportunity is designed for partners to discuss how they have been centering youth voice and advancing youth-informed, youth-led approaches within their organizations and programs since the April 2026 release of the EMPOWER youth voice report. Opportunities to share EMPOWER’s learnings with the public and ignite calls to action from youth will also be explored.
2026-27 community presentations will be announced this coming fall.
