On Thursday, January 25, ACF’s Executive Director Tamara Tormohlen was a panelist in the 3rd Annual State of the Sector Meeting in Denver co-sponsored by the Community Resource Center and Colorado Association of Funders. This event provided an opportunity for nonprofit leaders, foundation staff, elected officials and stakeholders to reflect on the current state of Colorado’s nonprofit sector and discuss opportunities for success in 2018. Tamara discussed ACF’s Collective Impact approach to solving regional problems, and spoke of the successful Cradle to Career Initiative to an audience of more than 250 attendees. The panel also addressed new tax laws, nonprofit successes and challenges, emerging trends in the sector and how to create stronger communities across Colorado.
