Jay Sandrich, supporter of ACF and Emmy-Winning Director, dies at 89.

If you’ve ever watched “The Cosby Show”, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” or even “The Golden Girls” then your life was in some way impacted by Jay Sandrich. As an Emmy-winning TV director he can be credited as a large part of the creative community that brought us so much entertainment. Outside of the entertainment world, Jay was a great philanthropist and we’re grateful for the impact he had here at Aspen Community Foundation.

Jay was a part of the Executive Service Corps and was also an Aspen Community Foundation board member from 2005-2011 and a valued supporter of our Cradle to Career Initiative. We feel honored to have known Jay and that he and his family wish to continue giving, even after his passing. The family requests that donations be made in Sandrich’s name to the Cradle to Career Initiative with ACF and two other organizations that meant a great deal to him. Read more about Jay Sandrich here.
