Established and supported by donors, ACF administers funds that send students from the Roaring Fork Valley on experiential learning trips to Europe and Africa. In all, 19 area high school students will participate this year.
The community response to the Lake Christine Fire was remarkable and Aspen Community Foundation was honored to steward contributions from 300 donors to support the immediate relief and recovery efforts along with ongoing efforts to lessen the impact of future wildfires.
Aspen Community Foundation is pleased to announce that 45 high school graduates and 55 continuing college students from Aspen to Parachute have received a total of $233,500 in scholarships this year. Students represent all nine public high schools in the region and are attending 17 colleges and universities throughout the state and nation.
