Aspen Community Foundation offers four direct assistance programs for individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship.  The Mental Health Fund, Emergency Assistance Fund, Valley Autism Assistance Fund, and Quality of Life Cancer Fund are described below.

Mental Health Program

The Mental Health Financial Aid Program addresses concerns about the safety and security of individuals and families who find themselves in mental health or substance abuse crisis and who cannot afford to pay for treatment.

Emergency Assistance Program

The Emergency Assistance Program may provide food, shelter and emergency medical support for individuals and families in financial crisis. Special consideration is given for seniors.

VALLEY AUTISM ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Valley Autism Assistance Program supports families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder who are in need of monetary support during times of emergency and crisis during life events.

Quality of Life Cancer Program

The Quality of Life Cancer Program supports the lives of people living with cancer, including patients, survivors, families and caregivers. The program provides emergency financial assistance to mitigate the financial burden that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis.
